"I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."- Lee
Which do you believe? Me the word "foolish" is the kicker, pun fully intended, a "foolish consistency" gets you nowhere or feared. I know that a majority of what I've been showing/posting is inking, in order to break-in to comics I choose the path of an inker, which admittedly has gotten me nowhere at the moment other that I have seen an improvement in both confidence and style. I realize that there are other ways to break-in, so to quote another famous philosophy, "Protect ya neck." And so in order to "protect my neck", ie make a living/survive, I will be diversifying my portfolio over the next several months, but I will still be inking.
If you read my comment on LeSean's post on "What makes a True Comic Artist," I believe that. I am determined to live my life with a pen and a pad. In art school there was a saying, "We may end up poor and living under a bridge, but we will be the happiest people living under the most amazing bridge," or something like that.

Hey, I have a ton of peciled stuff in my sketch book an other places, and a SpiderMan submission (that of course, got politely rejected by Marvel Comics). If your ever up for some collabs with an aspiring comic book penciller lemme know! If not, no biggie.
I'd like to color a lot of pieces I make but to be honest, I'm a terribe inker and I have trouble crossing that hurdle.
Nice to meet you, anyway!
